The block container is a modular building that houses a generator set and additional equipment. A diesel power plant in a container design is an autonomous power supply system, it is suitable for installation anywhere, including remote from all communications. Advantages of container DGS: compactness, ease of transportation, minimum installation and commissioning.

Depending on the technical modification and dimensions of the generator, conditions and installation site, there are the following types of containers:
